🍎 Apple adds AI to “Creator Studio”

Apple Creator Studio update: Final Cut Pro with MotionVFX, Pixelmator Pro Generate Fill, Keynote assistant

Apple is adding AI to “Creator Studio,” its $12.99/month bundle of creative apps, with built-in MotionVFX effects and new AI assistants across the suite.

Apple calls it the biggest update since Creator Studio launched. Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers all get something new.

This update arrives on the App Store in November, free for existing subscribers; new subscribers get a one-month free trial, then $12.99/month or $129/year.

What’s new:

  • Final Cut Pro: MotionVFX effects, stock video in the Content Hub, round-trip image edits in Pixelmator Pro, text-to-image, and clips you can finally pull off the primary storyline.

  • Logic Pro: A new AI assistant (beta) that can start a song or set up a vocal track from one prompt, plus a Stem Splitter that now separates drums.

  • Pixelmator Pro: Generate Fill lets you circle part of an image and describe the change, and it matches the lighting, perspective, and texture.

  • Keynote, Pages, and Numbers: AI assistants (beta) built on Apple models and OpenAI that design slides, draft docs, and build charts.

  • MCP support: On macOS 27, outside AI agents can read and edit your Keynote, Pages, and Numbers files directly.

The assistants need an Apple Intelligence device and U.S. English. One-time versions of Final Cut Pro ($299.99), Logic Pro ($199.99), and Pixelmator Pro ($49.99) are still on sale.

PRODUCTIVITY
🧩 Runway releases “App Studio”

Runway App Studio

Runway released “App Studio,” a way to build your own creative apps just by describing them, with no code.

The apps you build generate images, video, and audio with Runway’s models and your Brand Kits, so the results stay on-brand for you or your whole team.

Best of all, you don’t write a line of code. You describe the tool you want, App Studio builds it with your brand and files, and Runway hosts it for you.

Note: App Studio is available now on paid Runway plans. Runway hasn’t shared details on limits or which kinds of apps are supported yet.

Runway App Studio building an app from a prompt

How it works:

  • Describe it: Tell App Studio the creative app you need in plain language.

  • It builds it: App Studio builds the app using Runway’s models, your brand, and your files.

  • Runway hosts it: The finished app is hosted for you, ready to share with your team.

If you keep repeating the same prompts and workflows, App Studio lets you turn them into one app your whole team can reuse.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
🌍 Google releases “Genie 4”

Genie 4 changing a world on the fly from a text prompt

Google released “Genie 4,” its most realistic and interactive world model yet, which generates worlds you can explore and steer in real time.

As you move through a scene, the world responds with sound, and the people in it move, react, and speak. Music, ambient noise, and dialogue are generated along with the picture.

Under the hood, Gemini Omni anchors how a simulation looks and behaves, while other Gemini models keep it coherent as you explore.

Note: A world model is AI that generates an interactive world you can move through, like a video game built on the fly. Genie 4 is a research preview for trusted testers, coming next to Google AI Ultra subscribers and early Gemini API partners, with a waitlist open now. No date or price yet.

Genie 4 world: riding a dragon over a castle in real time

What you can do:

  • Explore in real time: Move through a generated world with keyboard controls.

  • Change it on the fly: Use plain language to change the weather, the camera, or add a new person or object while it runs.

  • Hear the world: Music, ambient sound, and dialogue are generated with the visuals.

  • Better physics: DeepMind says Genie 4 handles physics better than earlier versions.

Sessions last a few minutes for now, and details can drift in longer sessions.

Note: Video and audio carry a SynthID watermark, an invisible tag Google builds into AI content so tools can later tell it was made by AI.

BUSINESS

A CRM so smart, it updates itself.

HubSpot's CRM is so smart, it now updates itself. Calls get logged and summarized the moment they end. New leads get researched and a first outreach drafted, automatically. Deals move forward on their own, with next steps flagged before you have to ask.

Even the one repetitive task you've been meaning to fix can now run itself, no code required. Customers using it are already seeing the difference.

This isn't the CRM you have to work hard to figure out. It's the one already working before you log in.
