Premiere Pro gets a beta color-grading tool built for editors

Color Mode enters public beta for all Premiere subscribers, alongside new Firefly audio tools and the Kling 3.0 video models.
Adobe added new AI models and tools across its video lineup on 2026-04-15. In Firefly, the announcement covers three areas:
- Firefly Video Editor gains Enhance Speech and other audio tools for cleaning up dialogue, managing noise and reverb, and balancing levels, plus direct access to Adobe Stock's 800 million licensed assets without leaving the editor.
- Two new video models, Kling 3.0 and Kling 3.0 Omni, join the 30+ models already in Firefly. Kling 3.0 is built for fast storyboarding and audio-visual sync; Kling 3.0 Omni adds character consistency and per-shot control over duration, angle, and camera movement.
- In Premiere, a new Color Mode (beta) gives editors a color-grading tool built specifically for them, rather than requiring separate colorist software. It enters public beta today for all Premiere subscribers, with general availability later in 2026.
- Frame.io Drive, a new desktop app, lets users work with Frame.io projects as local files.
Premiere 26.2 also adds Film Impact-powered effects and transitions, Object Masking with Sharp and Smooth edge modes, a searchable Sequence Index panel, and faster relinking of offline media across drives and platforms.
