Firefly AI Assistant can now build brand kits and rough-cut video

By Steven Van ·

Public beta adds brand kit generation, product-to-video, storyboarding and Quick Cut, plus a redesigned studio in private beta.

Firefly AI Assistant, still in public beta, is adding creative skills for social creators and solopreneurs. Adobe Firefly can now generate a full brand kit (logo, identity and colour palette) from a description of your style and brand name, turn product photos into short-form video with lighting, motion, audio and brand styling, build storyboards and generate video from them, and assemble raw footage into a first cut with a new Quick Cut tool. The assistant can also search saved assets with natural language, hold workflow preferences, and let collaborators join a project.

Adobe is separately previewing a redesigned Firefly creative AI studio that combines generation and editing in one space, available now in private beta through a waitlist. It adds two persistent features: Elements, which saves characters, locations and objects for reuse across generations, and Projects, which keeps assets, generations and context together so work can continue across sessions.

Adobe also announced that AI Assistant, powered by the same creative agent, is now in public beta inside Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Frame.io. Read the full announcement.
