ChromaDB is Chroma’s open-source AI-native vector database for retrieval in AI apps. It is the same product as the Chroma tool listing, at https://www.trychroma.com, and it is not a separate phone or desktop app. On October 23, 2026, Chroma announced a definitive agreement to join Replit.
ChromaDB continues there.
