Desktop app that turns a prompt into an editable motion graphic — describe the scene, refine it on a real timeline, export video, transparent WebM, or HTML.
OpenMotion is a desktop app for motion graphics and launch videos that starts from a prompt. Describe the scene in chat and it plans and generates a first cut, then hands you a real canvas and timeline — scenes, layers, audio — so refining is ordinary editing rather than reprompting. A reusable brand kit keeps type, colour, and logo consistent across projects. Exports cover video for social and product pages, transparent WebM for overlays, and self-contained HTML for embedding on the web. It integrates with Claude Code and Codex without separate API keys. Builds are available for macOS on Apple silicon and Intel, and for Windows 10+ in beta. Free while in development; the team says any future paid plans will be announced in advance.
