What is Mautic?
Mautic provides self-hosted marketing automation with campaign workflows, contacts, and audience segments. It connects to email delivery services through supported transports such as SMTP. You control the application and its infrastructure.
The community software has no license charge. A working deployment requires PHP, a database, scheduled jobs, and a suitably sized server. Hosting, delivery, backups, monitoring, and maintenance are operating costs rather than part of a bundled newsletter subscription.
