What is EveryApp?

EveryApp is a YC F26 project by Ben (@bensenescu). The announcement on October 26, 2026 says the mission is to make every app open source, starting with OpenSEO. everyapp.com describes it as open-source apps in your own Cloudflare account. The tagline on the site and in the GitHub repo is "Make every app open source." The homepage meta description says "Own your tools.

Customize your tools. Pay as you go," and calls the release alpha. The README says EveryApp is in early development.

One command sets up a Gateway in your Cloudflare account, and the team signs in once to use every app. The announcement says apps have no public address, so every request goes through the Gateway, which also holds API keys and secrets so apps never see them. The docs say the Gateway is the home base, at an address like apps.yourcompany.com, and each app has an address under it, like todo.apps.yourcompany.com.

Nobody opens an app until they have signed in and been given access. Each app is available to an agent through a single EveryApp MCP connection. The README says adding an app makes it accessible through the Every App MCP Gateway.

Patterns are pre-defined: an agent builds an internal tool, and one deploy puts it behind the team's sign-in. Apps run on Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, and KV. The site lists four apps on day one.

OpenSEO is SEO research you pay for by use, not by the month, and the README calls it the open-source alternative to Semrush and Ahrefs. The launch post says OpenSEO has 24k GitHub stars. The OpenSEO repository currently shows 25,078 stars, and everyapp.com and the README say 25k.

OpenCRM is a CRM that fills itself in. The OpenCRM repo describes companies, contacts, and deals kept up to date by a research agent. OpenAnalytics is web analytics on your own Cloudflare account, with no cookies.

The OpenAnalytics repo also says it stores no IP addresses. OpenMail is an inbox where an AI agent drafts replies and you hit send. The thread said OpenSEO was first and OpenCRM and OpenAnalytics are next.

You can run an app as it is or fork it. EveryApp is free, open source, and MIT licensed. You pay Cloudflare.

The docs say you need the Workers Paid plan at $5 a month and then usage, and that $5 covers 10 million requests a month. An idle app costs $0, and one plan can host hundreds of apps. There is no per-seat price.

A .com domain is about $10 a year. A .dev or .app domain is $1 for the first year. AI keys are billed by use, and OpenSEO's DataForSEO key is pay as you go.

Setup is npm install -g everyapp, then everyapp setup --domain apps.yourcompany.com, or a prompt pasted into Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor. The README says setup takes about 15 minutes. The docs say the Gateway itself is about 15 minutes and the full checklist about 30, and that you need Node.js, pnpm, and git.

Install an app with everyapp install https://github.com/every-app/open-seo, or start one with everyapp create my-app. The docs are at everyapp.com/docs, and the repo links a YouTube demo titled "EveryApp (YC F26) - Make every app open source."
