What is Ciggie Index?

Ciggie Index is a playful indie web project that translates the air quality index (AQI) into a more visceral unit: cigarettes. Search a city or use your location and it tells you roughly how many cigarettes you're effectively 'smoking' by being outside, a shareable, design-forward way to feel air pollution rather than just read a number. Free, with an option to support the artist.
