Affinity September 2026 Update Adds Blend Tool, Scripting and Over 60 Features
September 15, 2026
Affinity has released its September 2026 update with over 60 new features and improvements, headlined by the long-requested Blend Tool and in-app Scripting with a Scripts Library. It also brings what Affinity calls its biggest ever photo editing update, including deeper RAW development, Noise Reduction, Motion Blur Reduction, Mixed Light Correction and SDR to HDR, plus new Canva AI Studio tools such as Generative Upscale, Layer to 3D and Scene Decomposition. Layout users get InDesign (.INDD) and Publisher (.PUB) import, data merge from Canva Sheets and custom Preflight rules. Most of the release is free; Canva AI Studio features require a Canva premium plan.
