Pika H3 Flex is a post-trained MiniMax H3 video model with open weights for generating video with audio at 480p and 768p. The weights cover text-to-video, first and last frames, and reference-to-video.

The 4K upscaler and separation into five audio stems are hosted features. Flex is available through Pika API Club, with the Pika app release set for November 2.

Pika's ChatGPT plugin brings its 40+ video, image and sound apps into the conversation and a side panel on desktop and web.

The tools include Camera Director for camera moves, Motion Transfer and Character Studio for reusable character reference sheets. You can also ask ChatGPT to adjust timing, regenerate clips, and add transitions, effects and music on a timeline.

Pika added Seedance 2.5 Draft Mode to its app and API Club. You can generate lower-cost drafts, then finalize a selected clip in higher quality. Pika says drafts start at $0.10 per second.

Pika has rebuilt its platform around apps for specific jobs, from making finished ads and films to replacing an element in post or generating concept images. Each app can choose a generative model automatically, or you can pick one yourself.

Pika now supports video extension with Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash, letting you continue a clip past its original ending.

The update also supports first and end frames, up to three reference videos, and output up to 4K.

Pika has introduced four foundation models for generative audio. Pika says they cover the full spectrum of generative sound and are priced below every other audio model on the market, at up to 20x cheaper.

Seedance 2.5 is available through the Pika API Club. Pika says its prices are up to 88% cheaper than other API aggregators, and that these are regular prices rather than a temporary discount.

The Club charges a flat $10 per month membership plus usage at what Pika calls wholesale pricing. New members get a $10 usage credit in their first month. Pika doesn't guarantee the lowest price on every model.
