Orshot

Orshot is an API for automated image, PDF, and video generation. You design a template in Orshot Studio, import one from Canva or Figma, or start from the template library, then render it with new data through POST api.orshot.com, from n8n, Make, Zapier, Google Sheets, or an MCP connector. Rishi Mohan founded it in Berlin in March 2025.

One credit is one image, one PDF page, or one second of video. The free plan is 100 credits every month, no card, and videos up to 30 seconds. Unused credits do not roll over.

Paid plans start at $39 a month for 1,500 credits (Launch). A 5-page PDF costs 5 credits. A 30-second video costs 30 credits on the included allowance.

Overage, once you turn it on, bills video at 8 credits a second. The Buffer integration sends an image, carousel, PDF, or video into your Buffer queue from Post to Social in the editor, from a workflow, or from publish.buffer on a render. Connecting Buffer is a sign-in, not an API key.

Sending to Buffer is included on every plan, including Free. Each workspace can send up to 100 Buffer posts a day, and one workflow run sends up to 25 renders. Orshot does not edit or delete the post after Buffer has it.

Claude can use mcp.orshot.com to design a carousel or Reel and save a draft. Connecting an Instagram account to publish needs a paid plan and an Instagram Business or Creator account. The free plan can still design, render, and save drafts.
