Motion 14.9.0 changed how keyboard navigation works in Reorder, the component for drag-to-reorder lists. Keyboard users now land on just the first item, and the arrow keys move focus from one item to the next. The arrow keys also follow how the items are laid out on screen, so the direction you press matches where the next item appears.

Motion 14.8.0 fixes accelerated animations getting stuck at their initial value after a remount. It also adds a mixer option to transition for custom mixer functions.

Motion 14.7.0 added support for changing timeline sequences in animate after creating them, plus relative offsets for sequence labels. The new transition.out prop controls transitions when exiting a state.

The release also fixes drag constraints after scrolling, drag inertia stopping after a fast flick from a standstill, and scroll tracking in horizontal containers. Motion reports a 30% reduction in useSpring's bundle size.

Motion 14.7.1 fixes transform handling so transforms move to the CPU when layout animations interrupt them.

Motion 14.5.0 adds scopeMotion and its React counterpart, useScopeMotion, for scoping animations and gestures. You can set default transitions, specify root elements, match media, and clean up the animations and gestures within the scope.

It also fixes fast drags that failed to move when released in the frame that set direction lock, and stops Reorder from double-counting window scroll during a drag.

Motion 14.6.0 adds grab-and-move keyboard reordering to Reorder. Its auto-scroll speed is now independent of the screen's refresh rate, too.

There are also manual controls for the animation frame loop: processFrame processes it at a given time, while stepFrames synchronously advances it by a duration for tests.

The release fixes layoutId elements jumping in some situations, SVG style updates, and shared layout animations applying an element's own scale, x or y twice.

Motion Studio 2.2.0 adds a Reduced motion mode.

Motion 14.3.1 fixes dragging that jumps to 0 after an animation sets x or y to a CSS variable. It also corrects rotation and skew during shared layout animations, and fixes layout animations enabled after mount.

AnimatePresence fires onExitComplete after exiting children unmount, and unmounted shared elements are freed from memory.

Motion 14.4.0 adds a drag gesture to its JavaScript API.

Motion 14.3.0 added a grid option to stagger, plus from: "edges" and from: "random". The Motion library also gained support for scaleZ.

The release fixes useSpring so switching targets animates to the new target, and corrects parsing for matrix3d and other transform functions with digits in their names.
