Chromagraph Camera is a stills app from Chromatic Applications LLC. The product page is chromaticapplications.com and the App Store page is apps.apple.com. It went on the App Store on October 20, 2026.
Director Rian Johnson posted on October 28 that he had asked cinematographer Steve Yedlin to build it. The app starts from raw sensor data and uses color and texture rendering Yedlin designed and used on the Knives Out films. You frame through the viewfinder and see that look after the picture is processed, in the gallery.
Tone, color, and texture controls stay inside the look. Texture includes grain amplitude, grain size, and halation. The gallery keeps full-quality raw files and shows the look live, including your adjustments.
You can export a smaller JPEG or HEIC to your photo library, or turn on auto-export in Preferences so every photo goes there as a JPEG or HEIC. It does not shoot video. The price is $12.99.
Family Sharing covers up to six people. It needs iOS 17 or later on iPhone and iPadOS 17 or later on iPad. The App Store listing also includes Apple Watch on watchOS 10.
The version checked on November 2, 2026 is 1.2.1, and the download is 31.4 MB. The App Store says the developer does not collect data. The product page says Chromagraph does not collect or retain personal information.
Pricing: $12.99 on the US App Store. Family Sharing covers up to six people. Checked November 2, 2026.
