Affinity's April update connects it more closely with Canva, Capture One, and DaVinci Resolve.
Canva Brand System brings a team's approved brand assets into Affinity, with one-click export to Canva. Capture One edits can open in Affinity with layers and masks carried over. Resolve opens Affinity .af files natively and updates its timeline when you resave the file in Affinity.

Canva Brand System now works inside Affinity, bringing Canva brand kits, colours, and fonts into Affinity projects.
The Canva Create updates also let you open Capture One files directly in Affinity and use .af files in DaVinci Resolve. Affinity has added an AI Connector for Claude, too. Separately, the motion graphics tool Cavalry is now free.
