Release notes for version 1.23.2b
By Steven Van ·
The update adds Library controls and fixes lost unloaded tabs, unsaved bookmarks and a startup memory leak.
The Library gets two new controls in Zen Browser 1.23.2b, alongside fixes for lost tabs, unsaved bookmarks and a startup memory leak.
Library controls
An “open library” command is now available in the command palette. Right-clicking the Library’s media tab also provides an option to disable it.
Tab and bookmark fixes
Moving multiple tabs to a new window no longer irrecoverably loses unloaded tabs. The release also fixes space-assigned bookmarks failing to save, and session backup filenames now use local dates.
Other fixes
- The Library no longer gets stuck after being opened and closed quickly.
- Blocked or unsafe downloads now offer the choice to open or save them.
- The sidebar’s excessive minimum width when aligned to the right has been fixed.
- HEIC media listed in the media tab now renders correctly.
- A startup memory leak has been fixed.
The release notes also mention other bug fixes and improvements.
