The new Wonder designs and ships from a live app

The desktop app for Mac and Windows connects Claude Code or Codex, runs your app on the canvas, and sends approved changes back to code.
Wonder launched a new version of its design canvas on October 27, 2026. The changelog says the new Wonder is in the desktop app for Mac and Windows, where you and your agents design and code on the same canvas.
Claude Code and Codex are built into Wonder Chat and run locally on the subscription you already pay for, with your own skills and plugins. Wonder does not sell in-app credits for them. Each chat uses its own worktree, and you choose how much an agent can do on its own, from asking first to full access. The homepage lists Cursor and OpenCode as coming soon.
The canvas can run your real app beside the designs. You click through it at phone, tablet, or desktop size, edit elements in place, and capture a screen as editable layers. The agent then applies those changes to the code. GitHub connects through the computer's own login, and Wonder says the repository is cloned to your machine rather than stored on its servers.
Free is $0 for one editor, with 3,000 AI-generated layers a week and the live app on the canvas. Pro is $20 per editor a month, or $16 billed yearly. Enterprise is custom. The changelog does not say the browser app includes every new desktop capability.
