Webflow's site tools now work inside ChatGPT and Codex
By Steven Van ·
Connecting a Webflow workspace adds skills for SEO audits, CMS management, and safe publishing, currently free of AI credits.
Webflow's Webflow MCP-powered site management, previously launched as Webflow MCP 2.0, is now available inside OpenAI's Codex and ChatGPT. Connecting a Webflow workspace from either tool grants access to a set of built-in AI skills covering:
- Site audits for SEO, AEO, accessibility, broken links, performance, and other optimization opportunities
- CMS management: creating, updating, organizing, and scaling collections and content
- Safe publishing, including validating changes and managing custom code without disrupting the live site
- Developer workflows: scaffolding projects, building reusable code components, creating extensions, and deploying applications to Webflow
To use it, connect a Webflow workspace from ChatGPT or Codex and grant access to the sites to manage. Webflow for ChatGPT is currently free and does not consume AI credits, though Webflow says certain AI-powered actions may require credits as capabilities expand. Read the announcement.
