Webflow's AI Assistant panel can now dock left, right, or float

The 30 July update also stops the panel from covering Styles, Settings, Props, or Interactions while open.
The Webflow AI Assistant panel no longer covers Styles, Settings, Props, or Interactions while it's open, so you can keep editing while you chat with it. It can also be repositioned: dock it right (the default), dock it left, or float it anywhere within the browser window, switching anytime from the AI Assistant panel menu. The update launched on 30 July 2026.
