Webflow's legacy Editor will stop working from August 4, 2026. From May 4, 2026, anyone still using it will be automatically migrated to a free limited seat or client seat, and affected users will get an email explaining what the change means for them.
The move follows Webflow's shift to a seats, roles, and permissions model for collaboration. Client seats, previously separate, are now available on Workspace plans for freelancers and agencies as of today. Webflow has set up a Migration Hub with details and resources for teams preparing for the switch, laid out in full in its announcement.
