Webflow Libraries now bring their fonts along automatically

By Steven Van ·

Sharing or installing a Library carries its Google, Adobe, and custom fonts too, and Share Updates flags font changes.

Webflow Libraries now carry fonts alongside components and variables. Previously, fonts referenced in tag-level styles didn't carry over when a Library was installed, and there was no way to see what fonts a Library included.

  • Sharing a Library from a source site now brings its Google Fonts, custom uploads, and Adobe Fonts along automatically, even for a fonts-only Library with no components or variables.
  • Installing a Library on a consumer site adds its fonts automatically; the Typography panel groups installed Library fonts by source and labels them with the Library name.
  • When fonts change on the source site, the consumer's Share Updates review now shows which fonts were added, removed, or changed.

The change removes a manual step for design leads and design-system owners managing typography across multiple sites. It was announced as launched on 7 July 2026.
