Webflow lets any element sit inside Component Slots

No more wrapping images, sliders, or rich text in a Component first to place them in a Slot.
Component Slots in Webflow no longer require a Component wrapper. Previously, dropping anything other than a Component into a Slot meant wrapping it in a Component first. Now any element, including images, collection lists, sliders, and rich text, can be placed directly into a Slot in the Designer, and edited in place like any other element on the page.
The Component itself doesn't change: Slots simply accept more of what a creator wants to put in them. The update is live now, under the Designer category.
