Coming soon for all customers: Increased CMS data design flexibility

We’ve begun migrating all Webflow sites to our next-gen CMS architecture, laying the foundation for expanded data design flexibility in the months ahead.
Webflow has started migrating all customer sites to a new backend CMS architecture, the same one it rolled out to Enterprise sites last month. The migration itself doesn't change what you can build yet, but it lays the groundwork for expanded CMS data design limits for everyone with CMS access, from the Starter through Business Site plans.
Once the migration finishes in the coming months, Webflow says the following limits will increase:
- Up to 40 Collection lists per page, double the current limit
- Up to 10 nested Collection lists per page and 100 items per nested list
- CMS data nesting up to three layers deep, up from one
Webflow is migrating sites in phases to avoid disrupting live pages, and plans a follow-up announcement once the expanded limits go live on Webflow.
