Webflow lets you bulk-add form select options

By Steven Van ·

Paste in line-separated options, with an optional comma to set a value distinct from the label, and flag misformatted lines instantly.

Adding options to a form select field in Webflow used to mean typing each one in by hand, which was slow for long lists like countries or industry categories. Now options can be pasted in and added in bulk.

  • Separate each option with a line break.
  • Use a comma to split an option's visible text from its underlying value (for example, "United Kingdom, UK"). Leave the comma out and the value will match the text automatically.
  • A misformatted line is flagged so it can be fixed without checking the whole list.
  • Data pasted from a spreadsheet lands as tab-separated values and works without reformatting to comma-separated.

The update launched on 10 August 2026.
