Agent presence on the canvas

By Steven Van ·

Agents connected through the Webflow MCP server now appear live on the canvas, rolling out to all workspaces by the end of next week at no extra cost.

Webflow now shows where an AI agent is working on the canvas as it happens, in the same way a teammate's presence appears. The feature applies when an agent connects to a site through Webflow's MCP server.

What it adds

Until now, agent work mostly happened behind the scenes, with changes appearing as each task finished. Webflow added AI attribution to the site activity log earlier this year, which records what an agent changed, when, and who prompted the work. Agent presence covers the live side, since a log only shows what has already happened.

It works for your own agent and for agents your teammates have connected, so everyone on a site can see where agent edits are happening.

Availability

Agent presence starts rolling out on October 21, 2026 and will reach all workspaces by the end of the following week, at no additional cost. Anyone who has not yet connected an agent can start with the Webflow MCP quick start guide, and Webflow's help center has more on agent presence.
