Access the Webflow MCP in Google Gemini

By Steven Van ·

The free connected app works in English in the US with personal Google Accounts, and does not use Webflow AI credits for now.

Google Gemini can now connect to Webflow's MCP server, so Webflow sites can be worked on from inside a Gemini chat. The connector brings the same MCP-powered capabilities that Webflow expanded the same day to cover Analyze, Optimize and AEO analytics.

What the connector does

  • Pages and components: create responsive pages and reusable components based on your designs and brand.
  • CMS content: set up and restructure CMS collections, then write and update items in bulk.
  • Interactions: add motion and interactivity to a page, then fine-tune the result on a visual timeline.
  • Site performance: ask about traffic, top pages and engagement over time, and get the answer in the conversation.
  • Audits: check a site's SEO and AEO, plus accessibility issues, broken links, performance problems and content quality, in one pass.
  • AI crawler and answer engine data: see which pages LLM crawlers request most, along with tracked prompts and how answer engines responded.

Availability

The connected app is free to install and works in English in the United States. It does not consume Webflow AI credits at this time. It connects with a personal Google Account today, and Google Gemini Enterprise support is listed as coming soon.
