Zero-configuration support for Fastify
By Steven Van ·
Fastify apps deploy to Vercel with no config, running as a single Function on Fluid compute with Active CPU pricing.
Vercel now deploys Fastify applications with zero configuration, using Vercel Functions.
A Fastify app is detected automatically as long as the server entrypoint is named one of a set of recognised filenames, such as src/index.ts or server.js. On deploy, the app becomes a single Vercel Function running on Fluid compute with Active CPU pricing by default, so it scales up and down with traffic and is billed only for what it uses. The standard Node.js bundle size limit of 250MB applies, or up to 5GB with Large Functions enabled on Fluid compute (public beta). Fastify apps can be deployed by connecting a Git repository or via vc deploy in the Vercel CLI (minimum version 48.6.0).
