Vercel Workflow is now twice as fast

Median API response time fell from 37ms to 17ms, with queue latency and per-step overhead also cut for multi-step workflows.
Median API response time for Vercel Workflow, the managed platform built on the open-source Workflow Development Kit (WDK), dropped from 37ms to 17ms over the past two weeks, a 54% median improvement across the board. Queue latency, Time to First Byte, and per-step overhead were all reduced as well.
Workflows that coordinate multiple steps see the biggest gains, since lower per-step overhead compounds across each step in a run. To get the speedup, update to workflow@4.1.0-beta.60 or newer.
