Vercel Sandbox can now run for up to 24 hours

By Steven Van ·

Vercel Sandbox sessions can run up to 24 hours on Pro and Enterprise plans, up from a previous 5-hour limit.

Vercel Sandbox sessions can now run for up to 24 hours, up from 5 hours, on Pro and Enterprise plans. The Hobby plan limit stays at 45 minutes.

The longer ceiling is meant for work that needs to finish in one uninterrupted run, such as large-scale data processing, end-to-end testing pipelines, or long-lived agentic workflows. Pair it with persistent sandboxes to keep filesystem state across runs. Read the full announcement for details on setting the new timeout.
