Vercel Queues now supports 7-day message TTL

By Steven Van ·

Vercel Queues messages can now be retained or delayed for up to 7 days, up from a 24-hour maximum.

Vercel has raised the maximum message TTL and delivery delay in Vercel Queues from 24 hours to 7 days. The defaults are unchanged: messages still expire after 24 hours and deliver immediately unless a delay is set.

The longer window supports background work patterns like delayed tasks, scheduled workflows, and long-running jobs that need more than a day of retention.
