Vercel now supports post-quantum cryptography
By Steven Van ·
Vercel's TLS handshakes now use post-quantum encryption automatically in Chrome 131+, Firefox 132+, and Safari 26+.
HTTPS connections to Vercel's network are now secured with post-quantum cryptography, using the X25519MLKEM768 key exchange during the TLS handshake. Most web encryption in use today could eventually be broken by future quantum computers, and attackers can already capture encrypted traffic now to decrypt later as that technology matures. Vercel's post-quantum support protects against that scenario.
Browsers negotiate it automatically, with no configuration or extra cost, in Chrome 131+, Firefox 132+, and Safari 26+. Read the full announcement for details.
