Vercel Marketplace database browser now supports Redis
By Steven Van ·
Redis and Upstash for Redis databases get a CLI tab and a key browser in the dashboard, currently for team Owners only.
Redis databases on Vercel Marketplace can now be managed from the dashboard. The Marketplace database browser covers both the Redis and Upstash for Redis integrations, so redis-cli or a separate database UI is no longer needed for routine work on Vercel.
From a project, open Infrastructure > Storage and select a Redis database. The database page has two new tabs:
- CLI: run Redis commands and inspect the results. Multiple commands can be separated by newlines or semicolons, and MULTI/EXEC transactions are supported.
- Browser: list keys flat or grouped by prefix, and filter by type or pattern. Selecting a key shows its value and metadata, including type, TTL, encoding and size. Supported value types are string, JSON, hash, list, set and sorted set.
Both tabs are currently available only to team members with the Owner role.
