Vercel collaborates with Google for Gemini 3 Pro Preview launch

Gemini 3 Pro Preview lands on Vercel's AI Gateway and v0.app, scoring 42% on Vercel's Next.js evals, tied for the top spot.
Gemini 3 Pro Preview, released 18 November 2025, is now available through the Vercel AI Gateway and on v0.app. Vercel had been testing the model across v0, Next.js, AI SDK, and Vercel Sandbox for several weeks beforehand and found an increased focus on coding, multimodal reasoning, and tool use, alongside broader improvements in instruction following and response consistency.
On Vercel's Next.js evals, Gemini 3 Pro Preview scored a 42% success rate, tying openai/gpt-5-codex and putting it in the top two models on the leaderboard, an almost 17% increase in correctness over its predecessor. Vercel noted it stands out in frontend generation and multi-turn agent flows, following developer-level prompts with high precision and producing stable, well-structured UI components, with its 1M context window helping maintain fidelity across long generation chains.
