Claude Opus 4.6 arrives on Vercel's AI Gateway with a 1M token context window and a new adaptive thinking parameter.
Claude Opus 4.6 is now available on Vercel's AI Gateway, built to power agents across the full development lifecycle. It's the first Opus model to support the extended 1M token context window.
The model introduces adaptive thinking, a parameter that lets it decide when and how much to reason, aiming for equal or better quality than extended thinking while responding more efficiently. It can also interleave thinking and tool calls within a single response. To use it, developers set the model to anthropic/claude-opus-4.6.
