Updates to Vercel Toolbar shortcuts

By Steven Van ·

Shortcuts for the Toolbar Menu and individual tools can be remapped, and the default menu key changes to avoid clashing with site Cmd+K menus.

Vercel Toolbar keyboard shortcuts can now be customized. In the Toolbar Menu, open Preferences and find Keyboard Shortcuts to replace the defaults for hiding the toolbar and opening the Toolbar Menu, or to add shortcuts for frequently used tools.

Customizing the shortcuts for hiding the toolbar and opening the Toolbar Menu requires the browser extension. Vercel is also changing the default shortcut for showing and hiding the Toolbar Menu, to reduce conflicts with sites that have their own Cmd+K menus. On Mac it moves from ⌘ K to ^ (control), and on Windows from Ctrl K to Ctrl. Details are in the Vercel Toolbar documentation.
