Unified security actions dashboard

By Steven Van ·

A new banner groups affected projects by issue type and offers one-click fixes or manual instructions when action is needed.

Vercel added a unified security actions dashboard that shows when a critical vulnerability or security-related task needs attention from a team. When action is required, it appears as a banner and groups the affected projects by category: unpatched dependencies, manual fix required, or unprotected preview deployments. The view can also be reached anytime through dashboard search.

  • Most CVEs are still handled automatically through WAF rules and other protections; the dashboard only surfaces cases needing user intervention.
  • Where possible, Vercel Agent offers one-click automated upgrades and pull requests.
  • For cases requiring manual updates, or where GitHub access isn't available, the dashboard gives direct instructions, such as running npx fix-react2shell-next.

Vercel says more categories will be added over time as new checks and protections roll out. Details are in the announcement. See the full Vercel listing on Creators Toolbox.
