Turbo build machines by default for new Pro projects
By Steven Van ·
Turbo machines pack 30 vCPUs and 60GB of memory, cutting build times by up to 70% for longer builds, Vercel says.
New Pro projects on Vercel now build on Turbo machines by default, as do projects upgrading from Hobby to Pro. Turbo machines were introduced in October for all paid plans, with 30 vCPUs and 60GB of memory, and can be customized in project settings.
Vercel says teams adopting Turbo machines have seen:
- up to 30% faster builds under 2 minutes
- up to 50% faster builds that take 2-10 minutes
- up to 70% faster builds over 10 minutes
