Stripe is now available in beta on the Vercel Marketplace

By Steven Van ·

Stripe joins the Vercel Marketplace in beta, letting teams provision a claimable Stripe sandbox with no separate setup.

Stripe is now available as a payment provider on the Vercel Marketplace, in beta. Installing it (via the dashboard or vc i stripe in the CLI) provisions a fully functional, claimable Stripe sandbox directly in Vercel, with no separate setup. When ready, the sandbox can be linked to an existing or new Stripe account, and Vercel says production promotion is coming soon.

The integration is aimed at moving projects from prototype to production for:

  • Ecommerce storefronts: testing complete checkout flows before launch
  • SaaS billing: validating subscriptions, usage-based pricing, and invoicing
  • Demos and templates: sharing preconfigured environments for testing or client demos
  • Developer onboarding: giving teams instant access to ready-to-use Stripe sandboxes

The integration also installs a stripe-best-practices Agent Skill for coding agents, and Vercel has published a Next.js starter template for building a simple online store with Stripe. See the announcement for details.
