Static IPs are now available for more secure connectivity

By Steven Van ·

Pro and Enterprise teams can enable shared static egress IPs for $100 a month per project, plus regional data transfer costs.

Pro and Enterprise teams on Vercel can now route build and function traffic through a shared set of static egress IPs, making it possible to connect to backend services that require IP allowlisting.

  • Use cases include databases such as Amazon RDS, Google Cloud SQL, Azure SQL, and MongoDB Atlas, APIs like Auth0, PayPal, and Stripe, and internal corporate systems or on-premises services behind a firewall.
  • Static IPs cover egress only: they do not provide a fixed inbound IP for services that need to reach the app.
  • Enable it from Connectivity > Static IPs in a project's or team's settings. A separate toggle routes build-time traffic through the same IPs.
  • Pricing is $100/month per project, plus Private Data Transfer at regional rates.

Static IPs sit alongside Secure Compute, which remains available on Enterprise for teams that need a fully dedicated VPC rather than a shared one; if a project has both enabled, Secure Compute takes priority. Secure Compute's settings have also moved into the Connectivity section, as part of Vercel's move to make more enterprise features self-serve. Read the original announcement
