Run untrusted code with Vercel Sandbox
By Steven Van ·
Vercel Sandbox runs untrusted, AI-generated code in isolated microVMs for up to 45 minutes and bills only for active CPU time.
Vercel now offers Vercel Sandbox, a secure cloud resource built to run untrusted code, such as code generated by AI agents, in isolated and ephemeral environments. It ships as a standalone SDK that can run from any environment, including non-Vercel platforms.
Sandbox workloads execute in ephemeral, isolated microVMs, with execution times of up to 45 minutes. It uses the Fluid compute model and bills on Active CPU time, so cost applies only while the sandbox is actively using CPU; Hobby and Pro teams get an included allotment under Sandbox pricing.
Vercel Sandbox is now in Beta and available to customers on all plans.
