Node.js Vercel Functions now support fetch web handlers

By Steven Van ·

Node.js-based Vercel Functions can now export a single fetch handler instead of separate HTTP method exports.

Vercel Functions running on the Node.js runtime now support fetch web handlers, matching the format used by other JavaScript runtimes and frameworks: an exported object with a fetch(request) method that returns a Response. Individual HTTP method exports are still supported for those who prefer them. Details are in the announcement.
