Vercel Sandbox now runs Node.js 24 by default when no runtime is explicitly configured.
Vercel Sandbox now defaults to Node.js 24 when running Node.js workloads, keeping the runtime aligned with current Node.js features and performance improvements. Sandboxes that don't explicitly configure a runtime will pick up Node.js 24 automatically. See the Sandbox documentation for details.
