Vercel users can now provision MongoDB Atlas databases, with auto-configured env vars and integrated billing, straight from their dashboard.
MongoDB Atlas is now available as a native integration on the Vercel Marketplace, letting developers provision a fully managed MongoDB database from the Vercel dashboard and connect it to a project without leaving the platform.
- One-click setup: an Atlas account is created and linked automatically if a developer doesn't already have one.
- Integrated management: Atlas is managed from the Vercel dashboard, with billing, provisioning, and monitoring in one place.
- Environment variables, including MONGODB_URI, are configured automatically.
- Choice of free, dedicated, and flexible (serverless) provisioning options, with plans starting at $0.
- Full-text search, vector search, and semantic search are built in for AI applications.
The integration also ships three agent skills, mongodb-schema-design, mongodb-query-optimizer, and mongodb-search-and-ai, plus a starter template combining Next.js, MongoDB, and Better Auth. It can also be installed via the Vercel CLI with vc i mongodbatlas. Read the full announcement.
