MiniMax H3 now available on AI Gateway

Vercel's AI Gateway now offers MiniMax H3, a video generation model from MiniMax. It works from a text prompt, a starting image, a pair of first and last frames, or reference material.

• Text-to-video and first-frame image-to-video, where a supplied starting image sets the output's aspect ratio.
• First-to-last keyframe transitions between two supplied frames.
• Multimodal reference-to-video, conditioning a generation on reference images, video, or audio supplied in the same request. Reference mode and keyframe mode can't be combined.

Output is mp4 at 2K resolution, from 5 to 15 seconds long, in aspect ratios including 21:9, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4, and 9:16, or adaptive to a supplied image. To use it, developers set the model to "minimax/minimax-h3" in the AI SDK; it can also be tried in the model playground. Full details are in the announcement.
