InclusionAI's 1M-token coding and agent model costs nothing on AI Gateway until November 3, 2026, and works in Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.
Ling 3.1 Flash 1019 from InclusionAI is now on Vercel AI Gateway, and requests are free until November 3, 2026. The announcement describes the model as built for coding, multi-step reasoning, and agents that use tools.
Model and pricing
The model has a 1M-token context window, which Vercel says supports workflows involving long documents, code, and extended task histories. The model name is inclusionai/ling-3.1-flash-1019.
Free requests still appear in the spend dashboard with a full request trace, and they cost nothing. On November 3, requests begin charging at the published rate.
Using it in coding agents
To use the model in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents, install the latest Vercel CLI and run npx vercel ai-gateway setup. Then select inclusionai/ling-3.1-flash-1019 in the agent.
The setup command detects the agents installed on the machine and shows a diff of every planned change before writing anything. It stores the API key in the macOS Keychain rather than in plaintext config. The model can also be tried in the model playground.
Calling it directly
In the AI SDK, pass the model name to streamText as the model value. AI Gateway reflects provider pricing with no markup and charges no platform fee on inference, including on Bring Your Own Key requests.
