Moonshot AI's Kimi K2.7 Code is now available through Vercel's AI Gateway. The model is built for long-horizon programming tasks and generalizes across frontend development, DevOps, and performance optimization work.
K2.7 Code has a native multimodal architecture that accepts both text and image input, and it always runs in thinking mode. To use it, developers set the model to moonshotai/kimi-k2.7-code in the AI SDK. The announcement notes that AI Gateway reflects provider pricing with no markup and charges no platform fee on inference, including on Bring Your Own Key requests.
