Introducing Vercel Agent: Your new Vercel teammate

By Steven Van ·

Vercel's new AI teammate reviews GitHub pull requests and investigates production issues, in Public Beta now.

Vercel Agent is a new AI teammate for development workflows, launching today in Public Beta with two skills: Code Review and Investigations.

  • Code Review works inside a GitHub workflow, running simulated builds in a Vercel Sandbox to verify recommendations before they reach a pull request. It analyzes diffs, dependencies, and framework patterns, references lint and test results, runs targeted verifications, and generates feedback that passes framework-level checks automatically.
  • Investigations, also announced today, applies the same reasoning to an application's runtime. Triggered by unusual application activity, it analyzes real-time and historical data, exploring questions like why a deployment slowed down, which function is throwing errors in production, or what changed between two builds, and provides actionable next steps when available.

Vercel describes Agent as its first product in a new "Agent-as-a-Service" category, running on Vercel's own infrastructure rather than something teams build or host themselves. An agentic marketplace is also available today to help teams get started. Vercel says future updates will let Agent create pull requests, propose fixes, and automate the workflow from detection to deployment.
