Introducing Flat Rate CDN
Pro teams can now pay a fixed monthly CDN price with built-in spike protection instead of usage-based billing, with tiers up to $300/mo.
Vercel's Flat Rate CDN is now generally available for Pro teams, replacing usage-based CDN billing with a fixed monthly price covering Fast Data Transfer, Blob Data Transfer, CDN requests and the observability events those requests generate.
Capacity is set at the team level rather than per project, so a spike on one project draws from the team's shared allowance. Spike protection is on by default: traffic above a tier's capacity is still served at full performance and isn't billed, subject to Vercel's fair use guidelines.
Pro teams get 1M CDN requests and 1 TB of data transfer included. Higher tiers add capacity: $20/mo for 10M requests and 50 TB, $100/mo for 50M requests and 50 TB, and $300/mo for 150M requests and 50 TB. New Pro teams have Flat Rate CDN on by default, and existing teams can switch over in Billing settings.
