Inkling from Thinking Machines is now available on AI Gateway

Thinking Machines' generalist model Inkling joins Vercel's AI Gateway with controllable thinking effort and no-markup pricing.
Inkling, a new model from Thinking Machines, is now available through Vercel's AI Gateway. It's built as a broad generalist rather than tuned for one domain, trained across agentic, reasoning, coding, instruction-following, factuality, vision, and audio tasks, and it supports controllable thinking effort.
To use it, set the model to thinkingmachines/inkling in the AI SDK. As with other AI Gateway models, pricing reflects the provider's rates with no markup, including on Bring Your Own Key requests, and the model can be tried first in the model playground.
