Improved experience for managing project domains

By Steven Van ·

The redesigned Project Domains page adds live search, infinite scroll, inline redirects and environments, and a full-page flow for adding domains.

The Project Domains page in Vercel has been redesigned, with changes to how domains are searched, browsed, configured and added, as described in the domains documentation and the release note.

For browsing the domain list:

  • Live search: the list filters as you type, without needing an exact match.
  • Infinite scroll: it replaces the "View More" button.
  • Inline details: associated Redirects and Environments now show in the list, so you don't need to open each domain.

For configuration and setup:

  • DNS instructions in a modal: the steps for the domain you just added appear on their own.
  • Full-page add flow: adding a domain is now a step-by-step process that guides you through the required configuration.
  • Better validation: input is checked more closely, error messages for wildcard domains are improved, and adding www and apex domains is clearer.
