How Ramp kept 100% uptime through 100x traffic surges on Vercel

By Steven Van ·

Ramp rebuilt its marketing site on Next.js and now uses Vercel's AI SDK to build semantic search across internal assets.

Ramp, a financial operations platform for bill payments, corporate cards, procurement and travel, rebuilt its marketing site on Vercel using Next.js, according to a case study published by Vercel. The team migrated its highest-traffic and highest-conversion pages one at a time, A/B testing each against Core Web Vitals before rolling it out fully.

Since the migration, the site has held 100% uptime and 0% error rates through traffic surges of up to 100x during stunt-marketing events. Ramp is now using the Vercel AI SDK to build semantic search across its scattered internal assets.
